Join us on June 7th as we take over 81st Avenue in front of the Grindstone Theatre for our annual outdoor block party in support of Rainbow Refuge.

From drag brunch, storytime, live music, DJ sets, and a vendor market, there's so much to do as we celebrate our community and 2SLGBTQIA+ vibrancy. This event is free of charge and open to all ages - doggos welcome too!

When and where is the event?

Our Pride Block Party will be held on June 7 at the Grindstone Theatre at 10019 81 Ave! Doors open at 11am, with formal programming beginning at noon.

Is there an entry fee?

Nope! This event is free and open to all ages!

Is this a community fundraiser?

You bet! Every Fruit Loop is a community fundraiser for a local nonprofit. Our Pride community partner is Rainbow Refuge, supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ refugees and newcomers.

Are pets allowed?

Yes, dogs are welcome! Just make sure they’re well-suited to crowds, and they stay on leashes.

What amenities are provided?

All the entertainment is free! We’ll also have sunscreen and water for folks to protect against getting sun-wiped!

How do I tip the performers?

Cash tips are strongly encouraged – all our performers are local!

Will there be drinks and food?

Absolutely! We’ll have both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase, plus food vendors on site including Sheeba Streetfeed, Lynn’s Place and Purple Perogy.

What about accessibility?

The majority of the space is wheelchair accessible, and we will have quiet/chill zones for folks who feel overstimulated as the space can get quite intense. Unfortunately we are unable to provide ASL interpretation for this event but will look to do so in the future. If you have any specific accessibility questions, please DM us.

What other attractions are there?

Don’t miss the artisan fair! Support local 2SLGBTQIA+ vendors while you enjoy the party. You can also sign up for the June 7 and 8 workshops. Throughout the day, we’ll also have roving cosplayers, arts and crafts, and so much more!!
